My ideal band is a rocking blues-driven band influenced by SRV, Jeff Beck, Steve Fister, Leslie West, Brian Setzer, Eric Johnson, Billy Gibbons, Sonny Landreth, Tom Petty, Johnny Winter, Reel Big Fish, Rory Gallagher, Gary Clark Jr., etc. Maybe we have two guitars; imagine the possibilities with both a Strat guy and a rockabilly hollow-body guy! Our bassist probably has a five-string in his arsenal, and loves rocking and swinging equally. If we are lucky enough to get a singer who plays harmonica, well, wow. And a keys player is just icing on the cake. Did I say I —LOVE— to rock? Did I say the audience, and exploring dynamics, and having fun, and the band vibe internally are all paramount to me?
