I'm putting together a new project reimagining a range of progressive-ish songs viewed through a distorted lens, as if from a parallel universe. Think: Miles Davis rewrites a David Bowie song in the style of King Crimson…or, Les Claypool drops acid with Fiona Apple and Kate Bush at a jam at Steven Wilson's house. Or something completely different. Improvisation and a general sense of oddity required. Polyrhythms and atmospherics highly encouraged.
