A never-ending and always expanding list, from the classics (Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Marvin Gaye, The Doors, Aretha Franklin, Beach Boys, Tina Turner) to the singer-songwriters (Joni Mitchell, Donovan, Nick Drake, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen), to Laurel Canyon California rock (Fleetwood Mac, Gram Parsons, Linda Ronstadt) to the early-mid 70s glam (Bowie, Roxy Music, the Sweet, the Runaways), to 70s classics (Cheap Trick, Tom Petty, AC/DC, ABBA, BeeGees, Chic) to the New York early punk pop (Blondie, Talking Heads) to early 80s metal (Van Halen, Def Leppard, Metallica, Motley Crue). I have a special affection for the bands and artists with whom I grew up (REM, U2, Kate Bush, Eurythmics, Prince, Duran Duran, Pat Benatar, Guns n Roses, Madonna, Sade, the Smiths, the Bangles, the Go-Go's, ZZ Top, the Pretenders, the Cure, Depeche Mode), but also fully embraced 90s rock (Nirvana, Green Day, Stone Roses, Oasis), alt country/Americana (Lucinda Williams, Son Volt, Wilco, Emmylou Harris, Willie Nelson), 2000s era stuff (Aimee Mann, Duncan Sheik, the Killers, Radiohead) , and try to stay somewhat current (the 1975, St. Vincent, Arcade Fire, Haim, Maneskin) And much more.
