ABOUT

Guitarist Scott Ross is relatively new to the South Florida blues stages, but no stranger to the music scene. From New York to Miami, and international venues in between, Ross brings to his audiences a robust mix of old-school favorites and original creations, entertaining with style and finesse.

Ross has been playing guitar for more than 50 years performing mostly in New York City and the Greater New York area. Aside from fronting his own band, he has worked alongside R&B legends Little Buster and the Soul Brothers, Doug “Harmonica” McLean, and has opened shows for BB King, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Johnny Winter and Roy Buchanan. “Ross is a performer who delivers the goods…” according to local press.

Now, a full-time South Florida resident, Ross is committed to bringing his style of Rock & Blues back to the spotlight. To make this happen, he taps the best local talent to round out the band, and often invites guest artists to join in for a set or two. This combination of panache and spontaneity makes for an exciting stage presentation.

Scott Ross covers Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, ZZ Top, Allman Bros, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Albert, B.B., and Freddie King, Muddy Waters, Robert Cray, Keb Mo and more, as well as original tunes written in the same style and substance of the greats they cover.

Scott Ross appeals to all audiences - from the serious blues aficionado to the ‘out of your seat/move your feet’ crowd.
