Eclectic fan of music. Prefer original music, not opposed to covers. Bassist, guitarist, and singer.
Prefer to play bass in a band setting, open to backing vocals. Rock, hard rock, blues, folk, punk, Americana, heavy metal.
I've played in bands ranging from goth-metal to pop rock, and hard rock to thrash metal. I also play solo acoustic and am open to most musical situations.
I have a day job, Monday through Friday, sometimes, Saturday. Would be available for practice about one night a week, and gig one night a week. I strive to pick up an instrument daily, and I'm working on writing and recording my own solo material.
Looking for open mic gigs and opening slots as a solo acoustic performer as well.

I've been on a big folk/ alternative/ outlaw country kick lately. Not into the Nash-Vegas/ popular (Top 40) country. Lesser known/ unsigned/ raw music.

Pretty much anything 90s/ Seattle sound grunge; Johnny Cash, 50s/ 60s, blues, 70s rock/ metal, dropped/ alternate tunings

EQUIPMENT
A small variety of 4- and 5-string basses and a 100W bass amp; a host of electric guitars (usual suspects- Strat, Tele, Les Paul, Ibanez), a selection of acoustic/ electric guitars (6-string, 12-string, bass), recently bought a resonator guitar; a few guitar amps; a wide variety of pedals and effects.
