I started playing bass guitar but eventually found myself wanting to learn to play rhythm and lead so I traded in the electric p-bass for an acoustic guitar. I have been playing for about a year and a half now on guitar and practice constantly. I practice with a metronome, know a bit about musical theory, and have learned quite a few songs. I practice my scales religously so that I will never forget them. I can improvise lead for most chord progressions, but can write lead and play it very well if I don't have to "come up with it on the spot".
