ABOUT

In short, I want to start a new project different than my solo stuff. I'm looking to put together a band with an awesome singer where I play guitar and backup vocals.

Have a listen to some of my music as that will be an influence, but the sound I imagine is a combo of: hip hop beats, rhythmic/disco bass, heavy-jazz based guitar (but crunchy distortion in areas), synth texture, and something just a bit special with the singer; something people can get into rather than stare blankly in the audience. If this sounds up your alley, let's chat! The project will have a new name and open to collab writing. That being said, I'm completely open to playing a new genre, I like too many styles to be pigeon holed.

Seeking: drums, bass, lead guitar, and keys/synth (or guitar that can use pedals for synth).

Imagine if Muse, Queens of the Stone Age, Polyphia, Sade, Aurora (look her up), and the Roots had a baby. That's what I envision.

I’m a dedicated DIY musician, writing, performing and engineering my own music. I’ve played music for over 15 years. After being in multiple bands, I finally took up the feat of going solo in 2018 with the release of “Apex to Abyss”; the 4-song story of my 3-year stint in Australia.

Back in time, my first band Aurous was nominated at the Inland Empire Music Awards for “Best Live Show” and “Best Indie CD”. I also had some success in Walk The Rio who won the opportunity to play Warped Tour in Los Angeles via “Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands” and even sold out The Roxy one night!

In going solo, after “Apex to Abyss”, I’ve added more instruments to my repertoire. Multi-instrumentation now includes: drums, bass, guitar, vocals, and a light hint of synth/production. It was am arduous journey to learn everything, yet this has all helped me release music much faster. I will continue to be student to music and constantly mutate my sound which is now a blend of alternative rock instrumentation and soul.

As my audio engineering skills and gear obsession grew, so did my client-base. I’ve recorded local San Diego, CA artists as well as mixed remotely for others. I enjoy being part of passion projects and I am looking to expand my roster. Let’s chat!
