Simply put I am a lyricist looking to create a small (2-3 person) song writing team. The intention is to market the songs to musicians for purchase. I sing, write and play a little guitar. My issue is I am not well versed enough in guitar to place music to words, of which I have a lot.
I have varied musical interest (see influences section) and tend to write in several different styles so I need someone who is also versatile and appreciates all forms of music.

Influences
The Doors, Pink Floyd, BB king, Doc John, Clapton, Beatles,Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Chesney, George Strait,George Jones, Hank (Jr and Sr), G&R, Bob Marley, Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, Billy Currington, Way too much to list, but I try to take influence to all I hear on some level. I am mainly influenced by country music and classic rock. I was raised in Florida and on the water and at the beach so this is a big influence on my style but I am NOT OUT TO EMULATE anybody or follow trends as I like to be original; but I certainly draw from my influences and life experiences.
