Formally of the band Visa Versa, Matt Bartlett and Shawn Simon started Grind Crime after leaving the band. Destined to continue writing music together, they started this project with a new diversity of music. They not only take such influences from the Progressive Visa Versa sound, but mix that sound with more upbeat and commercial material. Take every genre of rock music there is, make it a little bit heavier, and you got Grind Crime.
