The SLA is a Rock 'n Roll band from the Storrs-Mansfield-Uconn area looking for a local drummer to fill things out. The SLA plays a combination 60's pop, 70's Punk and classic rock very much influenced by the Ramones, Johnny Thunders, The Kinks, the Cramps.

I'm in my 40's so this is for fun and an ocasional gig, no illusions here.

Please, no kids, no goth, no screamo, no metalica, and no addicts or alcoholics, no Southern Rock, no 45 minute stormy monday blues-jam types, No Metal, no grateful dead wanking. No high-school or art-school, just old school straight ahead sub-berry rock 'n roll w/attitude.

I like fun as much as the next guy, I just don't like problems, pointless jams or boring middle-age-crisis white-boy pseudo-blues. Sorry, but Eric Clapton was never god, Johnny Thunders was.
