ABOUT

Male in my 30s. Haven't played in a band for several years, but did so heavily in the past. Studied music heavily in the past as well. Willing to commit, but have a life too, so don't expect me to show up six nights a week. I'm hoping to find a spot where I can play my way back into shape. This means that I can transition into lead vocals or lead guitar eventually, but I'm not shredding from day 1. I also have past experience at the piano, banjo, and bass guitar, but I sold all those instruments. I could be persuaded to add them back into my collection if needed, but not day 1.

I played a lot of Rock/Punk/Blues in the past, but would love to transition into more folk, country, jazz, or bossa nova type sounds. I recently backed up a female singer where we played a few songs for weddings.
As a guitarist, I hold my own, but I think my defining quality are my backup vocals. I can write the backup or sing just about anything needed. My backup range is much larger than my solo range and I can usually handle anything from Alto down to Bass
