Pick a style, any style: I can play it. From funk to punk, hip-hop to country, I got it down. I’m a 24-year old newsletter editor who recently moved here, but grew up around the area back in the day. Been playing drums for about 8 years now in lots of different types of bands since I began. I’ve been told countless times that I have a remarkable ability to improvise. What I lack in the technical ability of say, a jazz fusion drummer, I make up for in my range of abilities styles and dedication to whatever group I’m with. I have my own set, but no place to play—I live in a quiet Arlington apartment, and work in Falls Church. So I dabble in acoustic guitar to get my music fix, but I need to play me some drums!
