SpokaneRocks was introduced to the music scene in Spokane, WA on November 10th, 2003. It started out as a side project and only a few people were told about it! The idea was to create an additional online resource for the local music scene. - Word spread very quickly! Within the first 2 weeks of operation 44 bands requested to have their names listed on the site and 10 people requested to volunteer their time to help promote the site! In addition, 3 people requested to volunteer their writing, social and knowledge skills for interviewing and reviewing bands! Again, all within the first 2 weeks of operation! - During the first year we ran various surveys to find out what the public wanted from us and what they expected in a local music website. We asked several questions on the subjects of Design, Layout, Content, etc., which prompted us to do extensive research on how things actually operated within the scene! - Today, we reach a vast majority of bands, music fans, venues, and promoters throughout the entire United States. We now help promote local bands, bring in other bands from different parts of the United States, and help organize Festivals within our city to help stimulate our Community! - Through "Trial-And-Error" we have been able to develope a rapport within the music community and have built a solid reputation as a Local Company who goes the extra mile to help Promote and Secure the future of our Local Music Scene! - If you would like to learn more, logon to .SpokaneRocks today!
