Band to Join, Vocalist - Tenor, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Other Percussion, Saxophone, Keyboard, Piano, Background Singer.

ABOUT

Experienced in all genres to some degree. Last full band project was from 2013-2020 in the Upstate party band Hot As A Pepper. Won Best Musical Entertainment 2017. Have done studio work in past. Trained on trumpet for 8years. But 2 years after starting trumpet is when I started taking drums. Left HAAP on own accord for different reasons. 1) did not want to play as much as HAAP performed yearly anymore. 2) want to get back to playing more of a variety of music. Not looking for extremely busy schedule. Prefer in ear monitor situations. Not really looking to do the small club scene anymore. Corporate,private events,weddings,etc. preferred. Would also be content on personal satisfaction original project as well as an original contemporary rock/pop Christian project. More committed if there's a consensus of direction and members gel well.

Influences

Grew up listening to funk,R&B,soul,rock,blues,country and jazz. All classic rock artists as well as funk artists of the 70's/80's. Prefer contemporary jazz when listening to this genre. If it grooves, rocks, or both at the same time-------GREAT!!!!!! I have an open mind about original music. Love collaborating.

Currently playing Pearl Master Series Maple/Gum 6-piece kit in Silver White Swirl (see pic). Paiste cymbals. DW 9000 bass pedals. Chain and Direct Drive. Have AKG mic headset and IEM'S. Sennheiser tom mics, /AKG D112/Shure Beta 52 bass drum mics, sm57 snare, AKG p170 overheads.
