I am a very much stuck musician. For several years now I have had the capability to be part of a nationally touring band. For some reason though I have just not found the right band. My music taste, while seemingly "fad" driven, is most certainly grounded. The few complete songs I have been part of recording would fall into the "screamo/post hc/rock/not poppy emo" genre (think used, senses fail, my chem, matchbook, thursday, armor for sleep, coca), and for some reason that turns lots of people away because they assume im playing into that genre on purpose. Truthfully, that just happens to be what my music ends up sounding like, and unlike many high-schooler band people these days, I don't dress or act the part, my music just falls perfectly into it.

I'm looking to have a band that is playing gigs, gathering a following and is similarly minded to myself. I don't care who you are, what you look like, as long as our style is compatible. I want a band that shows raw emotion on stage and doesn't just stand there, but also can actually play and doesn't sound like a semi-organized car wreck on stage.
