I’ve played bass professionally around Texas and Louisiana for many years. I play 4 and 5 string electric bass, upright bass and electric upright bass. I have a very good “ear”, good and varied equipment, and solid transportation. I have experience in many styles. Dynamics are very important to me and my primary music enjoyment is collaborating with others. I’m retired from a day job and have plenty of time. I am available to travel and will drive a reasonable distance if the pay is right. I’m very experienced in sub work and can provide many good references. Ideally I’d like to find an established band that needs a bass player, but I’m up for considering other situations. I’m playing bass on the music samples, which are both recent studio recordings.
