Owned and performed with Leon Merian Big Band. Leon was lead trumpet for Elvis, Sinatra and numerous others including Burt Parks Orchestra where his 2nd and 3rd trumpeters were Doc Severinsen and Clark Terry. Co-founded Ocean's 11 Big Band. Currently lead quartet/quintet Romantics:
For Lovers Past, Present and Future. This band is Playing Jazz Octoberfest for Jazz Club of Sarasota where they will feature John Lamb (Former Bassist for Duke Ellington while the Duke was still with the band). Steve has played sideman for over a dozen local bands.
