Seeking an active, gigging blues and/or rock band here on Whidbey or in Everett or Mukilteo that can take advantage of my ability to harmonize and solo. I've played tenor sax for a 6-piece rock/blues band in Everett for the last two years. A retired educator-several with years of intensive saxophone study, I am flexible, hard-working, creative and a quick learner. I've played a number of gigs as a guest soloist with Island Jazz Collective (alto sax) and have played with Locomotion, a local Dixieland + jazz 'big band.' I currently play lead alto for the SeaNotes, a 14-piece swing band (Oak Harbor). My passion is jazz and blues!
