ABOUT

ST8 OF GRACE guitarist and BMI songwriter seeking DRUMMER for RECORDING PROJECT. Preferably someone already set up for recording. I have many complete songs written that need real drums on them and a few demos in progress. Willing to work with you on some of your own songs if you happen to be a songwriter as well.

I can share work tracks with you remotely with or without a click and then when you feel ready we can get together and record. Remote recording is an option as well, if you or someone you know is production literate and can send tracks back and forth.

My music is mostly GUITAR-BASED ROCK (the BEST kind) heavy but not too so. Lots of riffs and hooks. See my influences for more. I also refuse to limit myself to these influences, and often like to blend genres.

Age and appearance are not an issue. Only talent, confidence, and enthusiasm are important. Except of in the case of remote recording, you should ideally be within 30/40 miles of Highwood, Illinois (60040) because that is where I hang my strat.

Influences

My guitar playing and songwriting influences include, but are not limited to, ALICE COOPER, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Motorhead, cheap trick, Beatles, Van Halen, Metallica, Raven, Queen, Screams, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, OZZY, Living Colour, DIO, Ted Nugent, Ace Frehley, Deep Purple, KISS, Ritchie Blackmore, Twisted Sister, Anvil, my son Julian, and many more I can't think of right now.

All of these influences helped mold my playing and writing style. All of the songs and works in progress on my site were either written or co-written by me with the exception of the cover of John Lennon's "I'm Losing You".
