I'm basically inexperienced playing with a live group, but I've been singing in one form or another for a lot of years--and I don't mind working hard to make the project work. What I am looking for is a group who doesn't mind taking some time to work with someone and have a good time while doing it. My goal is to fully develop my Elvis act. This is NOT an impersonator act but rather an act based on the style of Elvis! There is a very big difference. It basically means that there is a whole wide range of music that can be done. The idea is that once a group is formed here, all kinds of things can happen with the music. Also, there are a lot of old blues songs out there I'd like to breathe some new life into. If I were to find the right group of folks, I think we could put on one hell of a good show! Based on some of the liitle test experiments I have done with this idea at a couple of small venues, there is no question that this type of act, if done right, will attract people--lots of people!!
