ABOUT

Have 2 arms, 2 legs and like hitting things very hard. If you're looking for a "Mike Portnoy" , move along. Not into all that flashy, technical drum solo stuff. I'm your time keeper, solid backline, engine room type drummer who's measure of success is judged by the number of nodding heads. I'm in it for the riffs, hooks, dynamics and making sure folk leave the gig with our songs smashed into their skulls . For me, it doesn't involve switching from 4/4 to 12/16 to a bunch of f**king rototom hemi-demi-semi quavers over a series of paradiddles (unless it would make the song sound f**king awesome). As a wise man once said "Don't bore us, get to the Chorus". He's smart, that wise man!

Other Info - Can play to a click, but usually limit that to the studio unless samples, triggers etc are required live. Anything else is on a "need to know" basis. :-)
