Bullet, born Jacoby G. Bruce in October of 1982, is reaching the prime of his career and only wants to be heard. Growing up in the rough streets of Phoenix to a mother raising an only child, “I’m doing this for my mother who has nothing and never had anything also for my kids and because God is behind my every move. I am a man of my music and focused on being the voice of the people,” he explains one day while Bullet and I discuss his goals for the year.

With over 150 local showcases under his belt, 1000 songs written and over 150 songs recorded he is an artist with longevity. Not to mention he has opened up for Rappin’ 4 Tay, Ginuwine, Ludacris, Kurtis Blow and Bow Wow he has been performing since the age of 14. At the age of 25, Bullet just recently opened up Bone Thugs N Harmony, Monday night at Celebrity Theatre. This event was hosted by one of Arizona’s top Promoters, Ton Don of Big World Entertainment and Derrick Ware of UrbanAZ. After a wonderful performance Monday night, I was called for Bullet to Open for Lil’ Scrappy Sunday, March 2, 2008 at Club Rain.
