Looking to form or join projects centered around funk, soul and blues. Interested in writing/collaborating/creating and covering material in the style of Galactic, Meters, Karl Denson, Greyboy Allstars, Maceo Parker, Jon Cleary, Donny Hathaway, Herbie Hancock and others. The more it grooves, the better it is.
Looking to work with proficient, solid players who can improv, groove and who can adapt to different musical styles. I am a versatile, reliable player and am also open to hearing about other projects in funk, soul, alternative and blues. As you can see, I love that deep, soulful, bluesy funk of the South and in particular New Orleans. I am a pocket-groove drummer with a strong meter and musical sensibilities.
