Currently putting together a new project that has new wave vibes - The Police, Blondie, Talking Heads, Human League, The Go Gos, Tears for Fears, INXS - but it’s not derivative. We’ve collectively also been listening to a lot of Deep Sea Diver, Wet Leg, The Beth’s, Alvvays, and more. ISO female vocalist who has a unique voice and writing chops.
We’re 3 really experienced musicians from various bands that used to tour in the early 2000s. Collectively, we've put out 10 albums between our 5 different, previous bands. But we’ve all been stagnant the last 4-5 years. The plan is to play locally, write and record, and very occasionally play outside of Ohio where we still have some connections. We may also have some publishing opportunities.
Setting expectations: We’ll take it seriously and we’re solid players/writers/singers. But we all have families and demanding day gigs. But writing, recording and playing solid gigs will happen for sure.
