Sweet Dissonance's sound is difficult to describe. We focus primarily on a punk-rock/alternative type of music, but we are bound to end up playing anything, as long as we like the sound. We have just started out, so we are by no means professional. Right now, we are searching for people who may not necessarily be trained musically, but can thoughtfully contribute to the process of song-production (right around where we all fall as musicians ourselves). We are looking for people with good cooperative skills and people who know how to have fun. That being said, we also expect that anyone who wants to be a part of this band is going to take it seriously; we hope to tour once we have a satisfactory sound, and we expect that all band members must be willing to commit.

Our sound could be compared to that of Green Day and Weezer. We also have softer music that could be compared to Sam Smith.
