ABOUT

Andrea Spadafora hails from Salerno in southern Italy, where he started playing
drums at the tender age of 10. By sixth grade he was entertaining classmates by
drumming with pens and pencils on his desk; by the age of 14 he was drumming in
his first cover band, and was soon taken under the tutelage of the great Italian
teacher, Gaetano Fasano. In the following years, he played in a number of outfits
before leaving Italy for the bright lights and big cities of the United States 7 years
ago.

Andrea is currently performing with Maryland based cover band Ghost Pepper, and is available for hire in similar cover band projects.

Influences

Andrea cites a wide array of influences on the drum kit, including but not limited to Stewart Copeland from "The Police", Vinnie Colaiuta, John Bonham, Horacio “El Negro” Hernandez, Aaron Comess from the "Spin Doctors", and numerous other “monsters” of the drums. Andrea says his style is a blend of all these amazing influences and he strives to improve his musical skills every day.
