ABOUT

Hi I’m Syd, just moved back to AZ where I used to play with a number of local bands. I was living in CA the last 12 years and played in multiple bands there as well that played local and LA circuit. I love post Rock, generally slower drop tones to go well with my higher voice. I can and have screamed in my music when necessary. I mostly write in my own on acoustic and alter as needed for heavier bands but I also love writing with people and playing acoustic as well. Slightly diverse but was classically trained as a vocalist. It is my one most sacred passions.

Influences

TOOL, cult of Luna, Russian circles, Elliott smith, tori Amos, Kate bush, Fiona Apple. A lot of grunge growing up. Tool type vocals (bass and all of it) was most influential as I was growing up. Stuff I’m listening to- right now, polyphia, Emma Ruth rundle, intronaut, there are too many to name and I’m def missing important ones. I’ll edit as needed.

EQUIPMENT

I have 2 electric acoustics, a decent amp. And mic and mic stands. I also have gear to record but don’t know how to use ableton. I have a second room set up for doing music as well.
