Gritty female vocalist seeking band/bandmates
Hey, I'm Tabinda! I've been singing for about 2 years and still take lessons 2x week (clean and harsh vocals). I practice often at 7DrumCity and I've done a couple shows (15 minute sets). I'd love to join an original or cover band (or mix of both). I don't have experience arranging/songwriting, but I'm down to learn how.
I'm pretty committed to music, but I am new to it, and I'm learning how to play guitar. My ideal band would be into the same punk, hardcore genre and have originals/covers that just need vocals (ideally harsh, and clean). I really want to add grit and vocal fry, so a band that prefers 100% clean vocals wouldn't be a good fit.
I'm in Arlington and would like to stay within 15-20 miles for rehearsals. My goal is to play local gigs a couple times a month and connect with other musicians.
