I am a classically trained pianist & writer turned vocalist. When I dropped out of college I picked up the guitar & can also hold my own on the drums for jamming purposes mainly. My strengths are really in vocals, lyricism & keyboards. I've been told that I have great stage presence but am not at all a narcissistic frontman. I love to learn from my bandmates and am always open to constructive criticism. The last project I did was an art-pop/indie/folk duo in Los Angeles.
My new project, which is a duo for now (me on keys & lead vocals) what's-his-face on guitar & backup vocals, is looking for a drummer and possibly a bassist. We'd prefer someone closer to our age (mid-20's) who understands that drums don't always have to be so rock-n-roll. I think something a la My Morning Jacket's Tennessee Fire would be appropriate with our sound.

I have a marvelous Boston grand piano which I practice on, a simple Casio with weighted keys (it's surprisingly good for a Casio) & a Yamaha acoustic guitar
