Experienced guitarist seeking out rock band for fun and gigging. I would like to gig at least a weekend a month. I'm not looking for egos, drugs/alcohol or stress. I don't care if I play lead guitar, rhythm guitar or a combitnation of both. I don't have the greatest singing voice but can help out with backing vocals if needed. Influences
I love all genres and types of music but my two favorties are rock and funk. Some of my biggest influences are Led Zeppelin, Prince, The Who, Soundgarden, George Clinton, Van Halen early U2, REM, Stevie Wonder, Blondie and the list goes on and on. If I answered this on another day the list would be compeltely different.

EQUIPMENT
I'm not a gear head but all of my equipment is professional quality and in working condition. My main gigging amps are a Fender Super Sonic and a mid 70's Music Man 135 watt half stack. I usually go with the Fender because the half stack is heavy and cumbersome to haul around. I use a Line 6 HD 500 for FX and my main guitar is a Strat with Dimarzio pickups. I have other guitars but usually bring a Gibson SG along as a back up for gigs. I use a Shure SM 57 to mic my amp and have a Shure SM 58 mic for vocals. I also have a Fender Precision bass if needed.
