I've been a bass player for close to 20 years and earned a jazz studies degree in 2012. At this stage in my life, I'm pretty far removed from jazz, but still retain much of the practical knowledge that comes with studying that music as well as classical music.
In the passed 8ish years I've began taking up side instruments starting with the guitar, also dabbling in drums and occasionally a mandolin. In the last 3 years I've also started building my own guitar effects and have developed quite the interest in analog circuits.
