SEEKING
Band to Join.ABOUT
Hello People of Cactus Town,
i recently moved here and i'm looking for some players to jam with and play out around town.
I'm not yngvie malmsteen (spelling?) I have played with major label players. I have written a couple of songs recorded by major artists and have also produced some records that weren't terrible.
i'm not looking for fame or stardom.
i'm just looking to blow some minds, one sh!tty bar at a time. I don't want to rehearse endlessly. It would be fun to rehearse while playing live somewhere with 5 audience members wishing we would shut up.
Looking for mature players at least over 30.
What kind of music you ask? Good music. possible songs might be:
Molly's Chamber - Kings of Leon (or any Kings of Leon song)
Evil Woman - E.L.O.
Come Back to Earth - Mac Miller (or any mac miller song)
Tear You Apart - She Wants Revenge
Rednecker - Hardy
Let's Work - Prince
I Hate the Weekend - Tacocat
Imperial Teen - Imperial Teen
Sideways - Citizen Cope
Nobody Really Cares If You Don't Go to the Party - Courtney Barnett
Pedestrian at Best - Courtney Barnett
Pop Muzik - M
Go - Tones on Tail
Queen Bitch - David Bowie
Fame - David Bowie
Send me an Angel - Real Life
Open Your Eyes - Lords of the New Church
Cocaine - JJ Cale / Eric Clapton
I'm open to playing quality originals but really let's try not to confuse the drunks at the bar.
