FADED SUN is the brainchild of Tony Dee DeVita( Tony started out in Popular Band "INVASION" in NYC Supporting such bands as :ANTHRAX,METAL CHURCH,MOTORHEAD,GRIM REAPER,FREHLEY'S COMET,KING'S X,ROUGH CUTT NY,CINTRON,TC KROSS,GUITAR PETE &JETT BLAKK,TUFF,HURRICANE.).. Then Tony moved to L.A. in the 80's and was Quickly in CARFAX ABBEY(an LA FAVORITE!Supporting:DIRTY LOOKS,RHINO BUCKET,CHERRY ST,WEASER),THEN!!:(Nuclear Blast/Century Media Artist's): NEW EDEN which did many METAL FESTIVALS along with Metal Bands:HELSTAR,ANVIL,LEATHERWOLF,HADES,AGENT STEEL,JAG PANZER,STEEL PROPHET,CAGE,EXCITER,DESTINY'S END,OMEN.THEN!FINALLY!!- TONY D. FORMED his own band:FADED SUN in writing song's for indie movies[horror/gore/comedy]in Southern California,A high-quality METAL/ROCK style emerged from the song's Being written, kind of how Rob Zombie started (Flavorful Hard,Groove Metal).The songs had that WHITE ZOMBIE-ROB ZOMBIE/GODSMACK/SOUNDGARDEN/B.L.S./OZZY/MEGADETH/SABBATH flavor.TONY took some songs to a producer.FADED SUN was born and the rest is history.They jammed with many local friend's until they found that Certain FADED SUN sound. Tom Maxwell(Mystic Homies,Blackout)on Bass And Scott Lane(Max Havoc,Salty Dog,Stryper)on Lead Guitars,Filled out the Sound Along with the amazing Technical Drumming of Mike Brown(Our Alter Ego).They are now Well known throughout S.Cal.after some recent Successful shows with: DC4,WARRIOR,BULLET BOYS,WWIII,SO LOW,PRETTY BOY FLOYD,OCTANE MOB,and LOUDNESS.Indie radio Loves them and plays have been Excellent as well as standings.They also were Nominated by All ACCESS Magazine for BEST NEW BAND!
