Hi guys! It's T-Bone / Tony (tnlholmes@live.com)

I'm a USAF Pilot stationed at Offutt AFB (as of mid-June 2008). What I'm looking for is to try and hook up with an established band (preferably a cover band) that needs a quality musician (primarily a drummer) to gig a couple of times per month. I'm also available to do session work in the studio. Furthermore, I'm also interested in playing Christian music with a rock format. However, I'll entertain all offers....so don't hesitate to drop me a line.

Now, a little about me.....I'm a semi-pro drummer who has extensive live experience, as well as a good bit of studio time (click tracks included). I also play piano / keys (classically trained), pluck around on the bass guitar some and sing (mostly back ground, but would like to do a full-time lead position someday too).

I've played every kind of music under the sun, but I prefer rock because it's more fun to play. And also, if it matters to you, I play double-bass drums (double pedal, not 2 big bass drums....they're too hard to carry around). Although I can play it straight forward (think "Hot For the Teacher" by Van Halen), I use is mostly for accents in my own personal style.

I'm very groove oriented, but I also like to be animated when I play....think John Bonham with some Tommy Lee flair. Hence, why I have so much fun playing rock music.

I'm available pretty much every weekend to gig / practice, but would prefer only doing it 2 weekends per month. I could also probably be available during the week at night with some prior coordination.

Bottom line, I'm very professional when it comes to all of my musical endevours, but at the same time I'm very laid back and easy to get along with. My goal is to one day do this professionally, after I retire from the AF in a few years, but until then I'll keep having fun with it. If you're committed and like to entertain folks, give me a shout.....I promise not to waste your time if you promise not to waste mine.

Thanks for your time and rock on!

T-Bone / Tony

P.S. If your interested, check out the last band I was with (in Omaha during a previous assignment at Offutt) at www.fasttrackband.net ..... I'm the drummer in alot of the pics.

P.S.S. There are more songs on the Audio/Video tab....just a different format. FYI, in case you were wondering, the Peter Gabriel song (Intruder) was recorded at Bassline studio in Omaha, and the other two were "one-take" demos recorded live in Germany.

Influences:

I love all music.....if it's good, then it's good. I have a preference of rock and hard rock (70s through today), but I've played it all through the years. I'm a big fan, however, of groups like Dream Theater, Joe Satriani, Sevendust and Van Halen just to name a few.

Equipment List:

Tama Rockstar (up to 8 pieces, but I usually only take a 4 or 5 piece on the road......less to set up).

Enough cymbals to make Neil Peart happy, as well as all of the required equipment to hit the ground runnin' (to include mics and cables).

And, of course, my trusty Tama Iron Cobra double-bass pedal.
