I am a Guitar player looking for a committed metal / rock band to perform with as well as a vocalist to do acoustic open mics with. I am very confident in my abilities to play live and am a very emotive player. I have a hard time standing still and enjoy engaging the audience with the performance. I am young and have been in bands in the past with very talented musicians. I’ve had nothing but good experiences in performing with those bands in the past but had trouble with their commitment to practicing and pushing the band forward. This was a shame because I knew without a doubt that we had the talent to move the band in the right direction. Every performance left us with ecstatic fans and opportunities for future endeavors but the fire would soon die out as the band would fail to consistently meet for practice. I am absolutely dedicated to performing with a band that has consistently jaw dropping performances. I learn music very quickly and would work hard to meet deadlines for performances or practice. I am confident in the feel in my playing and my current goal in my own playing is to increase my speed and neoclassical shredding abilities. I started when I was 10 years old playing blues and rock. When I was 13 a friend showed me Master of Puppets. I’ve been hooked on metal ever since and its been the most challenging and rewarding genre of music to play. This being said I love a variety of music and would be happy to play classic rock or even more folk rock from musicians like Jim Croce. In any metal band the guitar tone is an essential piece to the bands sound and I am proud of the sound I have found after years of experimenting. I feel I would make a great rhythm or lead player.
