We are currently seeking a guitar player.

Are you interested in joining my amazing band?? taste this! needs a lead guitarist.

"taste this!" is dance/alt-rock band looking for a new lead guitarist. We have recorded two studio albums and are working on a third. This album is full of new music that we’re hoping to promote once we meet and work with our new guitarist.

Here are some of the following requirements:

1. Available at least 2 nights per week for shows/rehearsal
2. Transportation and valid driver’s license
3. At least 5 years of experience playing guitar
4. Semi-advanced understanding of music theory
5. No hardcore drug use
6. High-energy stage presence
7. Willingness to learn up to 30 original songs (over a longer period of time) by taste this!
8. Interested in playing music in the style of Bloc Party, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the Mars Volta, The Hives, Kenna.
9. Ability to dress well for stage shows or be open to styling input
10. Willingness to travel

This is not a paying gig, but we keep a band account that pays for travel and repairs to equipment. Our long-term goal is to have an international following and tour regularly. In the short term, our goal is to finish our full-length album and promote our band in this region.
