Band to Join.ABOUT
Hey, I'm Tyler. I'm a college student in Tacoma/Lakewood, Washington at the moment. I've been considering attempting to find bands for the past couple years, but this is really my first foray into actually trying. By this, I simply mean that I've never been in a band. Just a forewarning that the whole experience would be new to me.
I suppose I should also mention that I can do screaming pretty decently (haven't practiced in a while), but I'd much prefer to sing rather than scream, primarily. Also - I have no formal training, so I'm not entirely sure "Soprano" is the correct vocal range for myself, but just think a less-high Jonny Craig.
I'd ideally like to be in a post-hardcore band (a la Dance Gavin Dance, Emarosa, etc), but just hit me up about whatever and we'll see what's up.

Influences
Jonny Craig is my main influence, by far. For examples of his best, see the album "Whatever I Say Is Royal Ocean" by Dance Gavin Dance or "Relativity" by Emarosa. I can't hit his vocal range exactly, but I'm making progress toward it.

Other influences (or, rather, likes) include Closure in Moscow, Portugal. The Man, The Mars Volta, The Sound of Animals Fighting, Isles & Glaciers, and Alexisonfire.
