Currently keys, vox and guitar/vox/clarinet(?) looking for bass and drums and woodwind/brass to complete very zany, bizarre Mr. Bungle, Frank Zappa, Ween, Thelonius Monk, Primus, Charles Mingus, Eric Dolphy, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Mars Volta, John Zorn and Naked City, funk, country, bluegrass, rock, metal, thrash, rap, jazz, free form, avant-garde, polyrhythmic, atonal type dealy. (I’ve never heard of any of these people.) We’re looking for good musicians and good peoples and definately in favor of creative types cuz we’re REALLY gonna go Top 40 this time (What does atonal mean?) ! Multi-instrumentalists definately welcome!
Stage shows in the past have involved random audience members coming up on stage and arbitrarily honking bicycle horns during convoluted rhythmic passages, playing a water xylophone and, naturally, what show would be complete without a wet-vac solo? Of course, that was a few years ago. Right now, we’re just trying to find some misunderstood geniuses with enough free time to get together maybe once or twice a week, do some rehearsing, record EVERYTHING, and get the material coordinated.
