[you•no•me] A multi-genre music collective based in Queens, NY. unomi was formed in late 2018 when a group of aspiring artists from different parts of the world met in New York City. They decided to meet twice a week for freestyle cyphers. At first they were strangers to each other, but with every beat played they lost themselves. If only for a few moments, they unknowingly stepped out of their bodies, forgot “who they are” and became one. Now unomi live together in Queens, NY. The purpose of unomi is to unite people from all walks of life in order to overcome our inhibitions. Together.
