Misfit Toys is a trio of Norwood and Dedham dads, each with decades of musical performance, whose kids are growing up and now have some time to practice and gig. Primarily focusing on 90's alternative rock, we play a wide range of upbeat music that highlights our strengths as musicians. We are currently looking for a 4th member to add some flexibility and fill out our sound. The perfect fit would able to play some keyboard and rhythm guitar and sing backup vocals. He or she must have the right attitude: we don't take ourselves seriously, and we don't need a professional musician, but we do care about our sound and push ourselves to improve and expect the same from you. We practice 2-3 times/month and plan to increase our gigs to 1-2 times/month.
