ABOUT
Velvet is a small trio consisting of keyboards, drums, and vocals. We play a mix of light rock, "Yacht Rock" hits that everyone knows!
We also have a full cover band called Suede with a very good following in Central Iowa. So once we are up and running, we will have a nice audience right out of the hole.
We are currently in search of a keyboardist, or guitarist, who can hold down the basics of the song on their own. If you are used to doing a solo act, this would be perfect! Vocals would be a nice addition as well!
Keyboards will be the main instrumentation backed up with a full cocktail drum kit. Our lead singer also plays some guitar and keys and can add in with those when needed.
We play in smaller venues, and larger venues alike and will gig during the week, Sundays, as well as an occasional Friday or Saturday.
Plan on practicing once a week until we have our set list built up and then will just practice when needed to add in new songs.
