ABOUT
Versus The Universe is a melodic hard rock band formed in 2006 to create block-rockin’ music and have an unbelievably good time doing it. Their formation evolved into writing sessions that merged rock, punk, jazz, and eastern music influences into their fresh hard rock sound.
The band’s high-energy guitar sound is amply supplied by guitarists, Mujtaba Habib and Strange, who provide Versus The Universe its driving force. Metal, hard rock, and eastern influences are flawlessly combined by this duo to yield an exceptionally unique sound.
The phenomenal bass styling of Nick Valese thrust a punk-groove infusion into Versus The Universe’s music. Nick’s sound plays more like a bass melody than a bass line. Drummer, Zach Young fervently hammers out Versus The Universe’s beats. His jazz-inspired approach artfully rounds-out the sound that is Versus The Universe.
Rounding out the band is new vocalist and front man Travis Heath, whose vocals are guaranteed to bring everything together in a masterful auditory climax.
