I've been in a couple of bands. First band was a hard rock/metal band called Chokehold. Sounded a lot like Alice in Chains with a grunge twist. Lots of fun but hated the theatrical component and psycho drama that the vocalist brought. Second band Brother Victim was Alternative and sounded a lot like Pearl Jam meets Smashing Pumpkins. I've been jamming in the basement with a few friends just to pass the time but I'm itching to play in front of people again.

Kiss, Zeppelin, Soundgarden, The Police, Radiohead, Brian Setzer, Ramones ONLY to name a few.
EQUIPMENT
I play a 6 piece Tama Rockstar. I use a double bass pedal when the need arises but typically stick to the single. When I pick up the guitar, I rock an Ibanez RG. I also strum and entertain myself with a mexican acoustic 6 string. Since no one else in my "band" can hold a note i do double duty on the mic while drumming.
