ABOUT

In 1959 I started playing rhythm guitar for my Dad who played old time fiddle tunes and bluegrass. When teen-dom hit in 1960s I promptly quit playing sports in favor of the guitar because I got way more attention. I played mostly 50's and early 60's rock & roll, surfing music and then what we called country rock. I played in country rock bands in bars and clubs for many years and finally escaped the smokey venues and opened a commercial recording studio and sound reinforcement business. I still like to play classic R&R and classic country rock.

A few years ago I became interested in Tejano music particularly the 31 button accordion and the bajo quinto and I am learning to play them
