ABOUT

I am looking for a new music project. I am gender ambiguous, although I tend to present female most of the time.When singing I tend to fall into masculine ranges and sing mostly in bass, or baritone. From talking and adjusting resonance I can reach lower female tones, but aside from falsetto I am still working on being able to hold those tones when singing. I sing in a variety of styles and am very comfortable with country, folk pop, soul and some R&B. I don't think I would be spectacular at reggae or rap, but I suppose if I don't try I would never know.

On bass, I am a beginner and would love to get more experience. If you are looking for some basic bass lines I would love to help out. If you are looking for someone to whip out a fast rhythm, walking the bass and using tremolo, I am probably not going to be the bassist for you... yet.

Influences

I always say that my strongest vocal influences are country, but I find myself singing along to a little of everything from Garth Brooks and Eric Church, to Seether, Life Jennings, Usher, I sing a lot of Jewel, Keyshia Cole, and can't stop myself from singing along to local Seattle groups. All of these and more end up stuck in my head so it is hard to say he specific influence of the moment.
