ABOUT

I live in Amelia Court House I have a project that I am enjoying, but I would like to be able to fill in as a side player on occasion. I've been through a few projects and have come to grips with the fact that I am itching to play some New Wave and 80's pop. There is a place for bands that keep people dancing and I want to cover music from the late 70's through the early 90's. From Devo to Duran Duran,to Pat Benatar,
It would be awesome to get with people who can wing most anything from that era on demand, but also hone down a set list that will bring out the nostalgia crowd that remembers a time where we wondered daily if we were going to bomb Russia.

I have learned a lot over the past few years and feel better equipped to hold down the foundation in most situations. I'm up for just about anything with regular activity. I'm looking to be part of a team of skilled musicians who want to craft an excellent performance. If you just need a sub, I'd like to help.

EQUIPMENT

4 string, 5 string fretted and fretless bass, 8 string (doubled like a 12 string guitar, not an extended range bass) acoustic and electric six string guitar when appropriate, Several amp setups, but I usually run direct to keep things uncomplicated. My current project is to learn how to use MIDI synth foot pedals while playing and singing. It's nuts, but I will get it figured out even if it's just to trigger samples. I have several items of stage equipment to bring, as well as my own in-ear monitor if it ever comes to playing out.
