I am looking to put together a serious ensemble of professional musicians to form jazz band in the style of bossa nova. I have been a chord melody guitarist all my life and would to venture into ensemble playing. All musician need to know their instrument and MUST read. I am looking for a conservative ensemble of upright bass, piano- keyboards, cello, and female vocals. Vocalist must be bi-lingual english and portuguese. THIS WILL BE A PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION. Performances will be local Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Starting pay goal og $500-1000.00 per person per performance, projected.
