Wow...where the hell is everyone in this area, FL even.

Anyhow, I've been a feature filmmaker, writer, director, producer for the past 6 years, and I am looking to start a band again "War Baby" is the name.... (open for discussion)

I am a singer, front-man, guitar player looking for other cool musicians or a band, great originals, maybe a few remixes...

I've headlined and opened for some of the biggest acts....

I'm into experimenting and trying anything that works and gets the crowds coming in. By that I mean adding other instruments that gives a unique sound and look, such as violin, etc.

IMPORTANT NOTE: I'm getting contacted by many, and that's good, at least I know this site can work.

So will try to explain in a bit more detail of what i want to do, and not do.

I am not looking to stand on stage with other musicians looking and sounding the same as the next. Our music will be great, moving, compelling, tells a story even, and even while we our in front of an audience. The music is priority number one of course, and the image of the band is important as well, another words if you couldn't hear us, you would know us just from how we look, dress, etc. If you couldn't see us you would know us from the music. Just professional cool look. I'm really into putting on a show rather than just playing the music. I don't mean acting like a nut on stage, but simply, having a great light show with the music, some fog, etc. I truly believe in creating some mystery around the band, even doing covers this applies. Heavy, dancy even, mystical, modern, film soundtrack for between songs, at times. Moving pictures, shadow people, etc.... Hope this helps.

I have a video up of my old band, quality is terrible, doesn't represent much other than that you can see, yes, I was on stage. lol

Influences

Way to many influences. Like everything from the rawness and purity of old early 1900's black musician swamp bluegrass blues to current rock. Not into rap or death metal though.
