I started playing drums in the fall of 2004 under the guidance of Aaron Buchanan (RIP bro). He said I had tremendous talent and that no matter what I should pursue my dreams. I hooked up with a few buddies and formed a band we called Crippled Conscience, which never really went too far. After that fizzled I was introduced to the band Corrosive Minds. They were already an established band but had lost their drummer. My first show with them was the battle of the bands at the Washington County Fair in 2005. After not even a week of practice and learning the songs (it was more like 2 days) we jammed out and although we didn't win we did very well and I received very encouraging comments from the judges. This only motivated me to practice and play out more. We booked a few more shows and started the writing process. We played Doomsday 2006 and were a big hit. We got a lot of show offers and a great interest from the fans. Unfortunatly things didn't work out, and due to lack of commitment on everyone else's part the band parted ways. For a few months I jammed out on my own working on my techniques. Near the end of 2006 I hooked up with a former guitarist of Corrosive Minds and a few other musicians from another local band and we started jamming and writing some songs. After many months of working hard and writing new material this band too fizzled. It seems I can't find musicians around this area that are as dedicated to the music as I am. All I want to do is write music and play shows! To me it's all about being heard and striving to meet your dreams and I just can't seem to find the right people to do it with.

Influences:

I'm into the heavy sh*t such as Devil Driver, Lamb of God and Mushroomhead but I also have a great appreciation for the roots of metal and the great classics like Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, Deep Purple, etc.
