I am a novice to anything professional with music. I am 18 years old and still a high school senior. My experience on the drums comes from band in high school and staying after school to play on the drum set there. I also have a drum set at home to play on as well. I sometimes turn my music up loud and freestyle to 80s songs, and other times just make up cool sounding fills and beats and string them together into a full piece. Ever since I got into music I've wanted to be the drummer in a band, it's one of my dreams.

I listen to 80s music all the time. I also love rock renditions of hymns and some original christian rock songs as well.

EQUIPMENT
I have a pretty basic drum set that I got for $200 from amazon. I got some new cymbals for it; Meinl HCS hi-hat and 14" crash, and a Zildjian A custom ride cymbal. I have updated bass heads as well; Evans Level 360 heads. The snare is okay and the toms could be better but they aren't too terrible. I have a single bass pedal.
